Frequently Asked Questions

We ask that you keep your calendar updated at all times. Families rely on this information when choosing a nanny, so it’s important that your availability is always accurate. If you’re not available on a certain day, please update your calendar as soon as possible to avoid confusion or missed bookings.

You can apply by filling out our nanny registration form. Through this process, we’ll ask that you complete your profile, tell us about your experience and submit your identification and certification documents. Following verification, a member of the BNC team will be in touch via Whatsapp for a short chat. We love to get to know all of our nannies.

Nannies are paid directly by the family. The standard rate for one child is 100,000 IDR per hour

You do! You can choose when you’re available and where you’re happy to work. You work directly with the families to work out how many hours per day (minimum of 5) and your start and end times.

Families search for a nanny based on availability and location. They’ll then read the nanny profiles, decide on a nanny and make a booking. You will then need to accept the booking and work with the family on hours and start times.

Most of the time, you’ll be working on your own with one family. But sometimes families with many children may request more than one nanny. In those cases, you’ll work with a trusted nanny of your choosing and split the hourly rate.

We’re here to help. If you ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable, contact us immediately. We take every report seriously and will support you fully.

We understand mistakes can happen, but it’s very important to keep your calendar accurate to avoid double bookings. If you do get booked by two families at the same time, please let us know immediately. We’ll contact the family to help find a solution; but to prevent this, always try to update your calendar as soon as your plans change.
