If you’re visiting Bali for less than 30 days, here’s what you need to organise before you land.

There are 3 steps:
  1. Visa On Arrival (e-VOA) – around AUD$50
  2. All Indonesia Arrival Card – FREE
  3. Tourist Levy – around AUD$15
Step 1: Visa On Arrival (e-VOA)

You can apply online before you travel to save time (and hassle!) at the airport:

  • Use this official link only (avoid any third-party websites): https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id
  • Select your visa type (B1 – Tourist Visa) and use your phone camera to scan the bottom of your passport. This will auto-fill your details; double-check everything carefully!
  • If flying into Bali, select Bandara Internasional Ngurah Rai airport.
  • For City, select Kota Denpasar, and the province will auto-fill as Bali.
  • Enter your accommodation details, then proceed with payment online. The fee is IDR 500,000 per person (around AUD$50) for a 30-day stay.
  • You will get a confirmation email with your e-VOA attached within 24 hours.

When you arrive in Bali, head straight to the e-Gates and skip the VOA queues.

  • Just scan your passport and glide through.
  • Children 6 and over can use the gates too.
  • If you’re travelling with little ones under 6, you’ll all go through the manual Immigration counter together or the family line (usually pretty fast!).
Step 2: All Indonesia Arrival Card (new since August 2025!)

You need to complete the All Indonesia Arrival Card, an online form that combines your Customs Declaration and Health Pass.

  • This is free! Everyone must complete the form, including Indonesian citizens.
  • Can only be done 1-72 hours before departure via: http://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id (avoid any third-party websites)
  • Every traveller needs to fill it in, but one form can be completed for the entire family by ‘adding travellers’.
  • You will get a QR code, which you will need to show when exiting customs.
Step 3: Tourist Levy
  • The Tourist Levy is IDR 150,000 per person (around AUD$15).
  • Obtain up to 60 days before departure (BNC recommends you do it at the same time as your e-VOA so you don’t forget!): https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id
